Riding up to Gourdon from the coast is slightly epic to say the least.
Grab a coffee from the Lucky Break café before starting the winding ascent upwards through villages and forest to the ancient medieval stronghold.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Gourdon can be approached from two directions as part of a long loop and can also be the first step in riding onwards and upwards to the local ski resorts. Lots and lots of climbing with stunning views and fantastic descending through the canyons.
